In September, 2024, Ryan Witten was selected to present his work on Community Data Utilities in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, at the International City/County Managers Association conference. ICMA makes a call for submissions for student policy presentations each year. For 2024, four presentations were selected and given at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center. Presenters had fifteen minutes to present their work to a mixed audience of approximately 50 students, academics, and professionals in the field who were in attendance at the conference.
